This is Second City Teachers. We published at Second City Teachers News Blog and realized that not enough people were reading our articles even though they would like to. Plus, one astute reader told me we are not a blog, we are an actual, real news site with real reporting about what is happening in the schools and the unions and the pension funds for teachers. We are the independent alternative media not controlled by the bosses. The established media is owned by big business whose job is to exploit workers. Yet their information is what is mostly read by teachers and everyone in our city. We say, “Hell NO!” We are independent and do not censor. Social media is increasingly under surveillance and attacks on independent voices who criticize the big bosses and their political parties are only increasing.
