In this interview, our second podcast on Second City Teachers, I talked with Tom Tresser, a modern-day people’s hero who has fought the powers that run the City of Chicago. He helped organize the fight to stop the 2016 Olympic Games in Chicago, led the fight to prevent the wealthy private Latin School from privatizing and taking over Lincoln Park and he co-founded the TIF Illumination Project, which exposes the corrupt taxpayer subsidy for wealthy development in the city at the expense of the people.
